Payback for an Irritant

Chris is an irritant, there’s no 2 ways around it. It’s a fact of life with him. Today he was being his normal self, but got caught.

I was sitting at my desk, playing a game that gets on his nerves. Oh well. So he finds some rubber bands on the filing cabinet, & starts shooting them at me. He hit me 3 times in the back. I get up, he takes off running, & goes out the back door. Ok, this is good. I locked the door. Then I locked the front door. The garage door was down, so that wasn’t an option. He was stuck. To make matters worse, the jerk that lives across the street was outside, washing his car. So Chris wouldn’t come to the window in front of my desk to knock on it, to try to get back in. All the other blinds are down. He was well & truly stuck.

To make matters even worse for him, he had 2 hot dogs in the grill in the backyard. So that his lunch, that I wasn’t cooking, wouldn’t be ruined, I let him in. Besides, it’s cold out there. 36F is too cold for him to stay out in too long with no coat on. He comes in, blustering about payback. Yeah right. I’m not worried. Then he calls Steve, to get sympathy. I heard Steve laughing through the phone. For sympathy, he needs to look in the dictionary. That’s where he’ll find it.

He’s talking revenge. All I can say is, he better not pee the bed, or he’ll sleep in the spare room.

God gave us all a sense of humor. It should be used, not forgotten.
