Chris & I were at the store the other day, & he wanted something “that would really work” in the shower stall. He’d been seeing the ads on TV about this stuff called “Kaboom” bathroom cleaner, so he got it. (Almost $7.00 for a quart size bottle, some of which Billy Mays got a cut of, I’m sure.) I, on the other hand, picked up a can of Comet. Want to bet which product worked?
After Chris tried the stuff he bought, then came back downstairs to gripe about how useless it was, I told him about another commercial that Billy has going now, for car wax. That sent him off the deep end.
After a bit, Chris came back in with the bottle of Kaboom in hand, asking if he could use it in his pickup, to clean it. I read the directions, which said nothing about plastic, just don’t get it on carpet. He tried it. Again, a miserable flop.
Then he tried it on a baseboard. It worked there, but who knows what the mix will do to paint. Surely it can’t hurt it. I don’t think there’s anything in it strong enough to affect it.
Chris is just another sucker who fell for Billy’s hype. Billy, I’m more convinced than ever, is nothing but a high priced call……..
Oh well, trust in God, not Billy Mays!
