And wonder what was he thinking???

Really! As citizens of these United States, it’s our right to be fat. To cause damage to ourselves, in terms of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, & everything else that obesity causes. Then it’s our right to expect the government to pay for all our self-induced medical problems, because we don’t have insurance, nor do we have money to pay the medical bills ourselves.
Even the author of the bill never expected anything to come of it, which means he wasn’t delusional, but looked at in the right context, it is funny. Think about it. Some little, skinny waiter at a restaurant telling a 300+ pound person he’s too fat to eat there. I don’t believe that situation could have any kind of a good ending. Not only is it dangerous for the “waiter”, it’s hurtful for the person hearing it.
As a wake-up call the author of the bill intended, I think this is a flop.
I must stay out of the “Diet & Nutrition”, as well as the “Health” sections.
