Dr. Jarvik won’t be in any more ads for Lipitor. The manufacturer has been pressured so much about those ads they’re pulling them. Seems people have taken issue with the inference that Dr. Jarvik is an MD, when he isn’t, & that people are led to believe he took the stuff before he started doing the commercials, which he didn’t.
Oh, & the scene where he’s rowing the boat? A body double was used!!
I saw the notice this morning on either the news, or GMA.
Can you say busted?
