Time to be fair

On April 2nd, I did a post about the trials & tribulations of a trip to my local PetsMart, & the response I got from the complaint that I lodged. Now it’s time to be fair.
I went the other night, to replace the cheap food I had tried with the more expensive (& well worth the cost) stuff I should have gotten. I also needed something to raise the PH in the 55, because it was too low. I was looking, thought I found something, & checked with the young man that was working in that department at the time. Not only did he explain how the stuff I picked up would work, he also showed me a better test kit that the one I had been using, & wasn’t too happy with. When I got home, I added the stuff to raise the PH, then checked the levels the next morning with the new test kit. I was thrilled with both items, because they worked as I wanted them to. I told Chris about it, & my plan, which he agreed with.
I was quick to file a complaint, so it was time to let the Aquatics manager know the guy did something right. While she has 2 male employees who have dark hair & eyes, only 1 of them has a 250 gallon salt water tank, which this guy did, because he told me the test kit he recommended is the one that he uses in his. I told her how nice it was, talking to someone who actually knew what he was talking about & could make recommendations based on his own experience, even though my tanks are freshwater. She was also surprised that I would make the call. I told her it was all about being fair. He will get some kind of appreciation acknowledgement for the call, too. Maybe it’ll help him when it comes time for his annual review.
