Joe is his progeny. It’s all his fault, every bit of it.
The fan on Joe’s ‘91 Kawasaki crotch rocket has stopped working. He calls a motorcycle shop & asks about the cost of a new one. For the name brand, it’s a little over $500.00. I told him to call other places & check out after market fans. He looked at me like I’d lost my mind & informed me that after market costs more than name brand.
To keep from making my headache worse, I left the room. I couldn’t cope with stupid right then. It was leave the area, or rip his head off, one of the two.
Chris came in after a bit & Joe is telling him about it. I asked Chris, in front of Joe, which is cheaper, name or after market? After market he says. I looked at Joe & explained that the phrase “after market” means generic, & is cheaper. He thinks for a second & announces “I’m not putting generic on my motorcycle!”
It’s all Chris’ fault. He wanted kids in the first place.
He only needs a 60 dollar part.
I think Joe needs to quit thinking about motorcycles and start thinking ahead about the third generation of C&C Plumbing. Who’s going to run the family business when you get old, Joe? And it will happen sooner than you think – look at your dad!
I think that was a shot Opie! but your right!!
