Platt Canyon High School

Parking was haphazard

5 lots overflowing with motorcycles

Police, Swat, Sheriffs, Fire, & Ambulance were there

Chris’ bike. Since he had no antenna, the girls at Columbine put 2 pink balloons on his rear lights. They didn’t hold up well. Please note his red chain. “Red goes [...]

Yesterday I did something I’ve never done before. I went on a motorcycle ride. The “I Luv You Guys” ride in remembrance of Emily Keyes. A girl who was shot & killed for no reason by a man who had taken her & 6 others hostage in the Platt Canyon High School. No, I wasn’t [...]

Chris makes pens. He uses cocobolo wood. For cops, he cuts the wood across the grain, instead of going with it, which is beautiful when it’s sanded & polished. Only law enforcement gets the cross grain cut. That’s what he was doing this afternoon, then went upstairs to his office.
I had to ask a question [...]

I don’t get mail….

I get calls. I get visits. And they’re to see if I will support UNIONS, of all things.
At the beginning of the election season, there was a knock at the door. Of course, the girls answered it with me. As usual, Loki was standing up, trying to see who it was & barking like a [...]

Can I be smug?

In just this one little area, I can.
A couple of the blogs I read in the mornings are by mothers with small children, one of which has just started school. Her post that I saw this morning is about how mean kids can be. Even kindergartners. (I hate to be the one to tell you [...]

Chris & Joe had to go back to Avon this morning, which means they left at 5:00, so they could be there at 7:00. This means I had time to read different articles & then the comments.
The one I landed on was a blog by Mark Potter “Hard lessons in a hurricane’s aftermath”. The article [...]

I’m a Norton believer, & have been for years. I’ve never had any kind of infection (yes my fingers are crossed) nor problems because something got in.
Over the weekend, I decided to put Norton 360 2.0 on Chris’ computer. I have it on mine, & I’ve had only 1 issue with it, but that was [...]
